Corporate Security Officer (Current employment)
Mitie Security Services
I am currently working for Mitie security on a prestigious thirty six million pound campus for the Acergy sea-bed to surface engineering and contracting company based in Westhills, Aberdeenshire, we carry out reception duties and take emergency calls from the fleet of Acergy ships currently out on contract around the world, we also do regular patrols throughout the site, monitoring of CCTV systems and fire alarms, we also add value to the contract by carrying out small tasks around the site.
Retail Security Officer (3 months service)

The role involved being a physical deterrent for shop lifters in a Tesco store in Westhills, Aberdeenshire, patrolling of the store and liaising with the store security manager regarding up and coming events and security details.
Security Officer 2008-2010
I worked since the 4th September 2008 for G4S Secure Solutions, with experience gained in the following;
- Specialist training in weighbridge operations
- Computerised logistics database training
- Compiling paperwork for deliveries
- Organising of site rota’s
- Liaising with Government departments i.e. Grampian Police, VOSA.

Unable to work due to ill health
Whilst working as the proprietor of Swift Security Services, I was seriously attacked at work and suffered severe injuries, it took a long time and great effort to get back to 100% fitness, I kept myself busy by doing a permitted work scheme ran through the Job Centre Plus, helping small companies and new starter companies building web sites and helping companies keep within current regulations for in-service inspection and testing by testing companies equipment and organising their paperwork.

The company Operated within a strict service industry, employing, training and supervising up to 75 staff. I am always a hands on operator, supplying Guards, Mobile Services, CCTV Installation & Servicing and Remote Surveillance to the North East area of
